Having completed Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation ( M Tech ), Mr Vasan worked as Scientist and Engineer in the National Aeronautical Laboratories at Bangalore. Widely travelled and experienced especially in higher scientific educational circles both in India and abroad, Mr Vasan is a businessman, scientist and philanthropist.

He is keen to inject into the school the best in educational and technological inputs in order to take the Doonites to the heights of excellence. The technocrat philanthropist in Mr M G Vasan desires that students of Doon must get the best in terms of learning opportunities for achieving that goal. The motto he lives by and inspires others to live and work by is ‘Excelsior’.

Mr Chandran has a solid Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering ( M Tech) from the prestigious IIT, Kanpur. As a brilliant IITian and one brimming with new ideas and plans, Mr Sarat Chandran is a veritable motive force in the phenomenal turn around Doon Public School witnessed in the last five years.

He is also a member of the C.G.S Mani Institute of Technology and Research, Dehradun, and has specific ideas on Plus Two education and subsequent Higher Education in the present day context. Mr Chandran is the proud recipient of the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teacher Award-2005 and the Award of Honour in 2007. As the dynamic school Manager, Mr Chandran takes personal interest in translating new ideas and concepts into day-to-day child friendly activities.

A Ph.D . in Graph Theory from IIT. Madras and Post Doctoral Fellowship of Paris VI, Dr. Ravindra has 34 years of experience including teaching, teacher education, research, educational planning, administration and leadership, supervision and monitoring. After holding various positions as Reader, Professor, Principal of RIE’s, Joint Director (NCERT ), he has retired as Director (I/C ) of NCERT.

Dr. Ravindra is considered as an authority in Mathematics in India and abroad. His contribution towards student teacher training is tremendous and he continues to do the same for the benefit of the generation next.

Holder of outstanding educational records, Gold Medalist from the Univiversity of Pune in Psychology and recipient of Ph. D degree in Psychology, Dr Thomas is as known for his humanity as his scholarship.

Having worked with NGOs, Educational and Management Institutions, Dr Thomas has over 20 years of experience in education, Management, Training and Social Development His specialist area is Counselling and Healing through Educational and Spiritual Intelligence.

Author of numerous articles and papers and important books, Dr Thomas is the recipient of many awards and honours. He is now Professor at Bharatiya Vidhtapeeth University, Delhi. As Chairman of our Management Committee, he not only sits at the decision –taking table, but also imparts regular guidance to the school Management.

An outstanding scholar, Dr Nirmal Kumar, Ph.D, is Reader in History and Head of the Department of History at Venkateshwara College, Delhi. Ever engaged in teaching and research, Dr Kumar is a visiting Fellow in various renowned institutions, and lectures and presents papers in prestigious forums in India and abroad. He has authored numerous articles and papers and other publications. He has received various awards and honours in recognition of his eminence as a scholar, researcher, teacher and writer. His contribution to the school’s unceasing quest for excellence is invaluable.

A postgraduate (MSW) with specialization in Human Resource Management, Mr Chahal has 34 years of varied experience as an Officer in the Central pool, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India and in other ranking positions. He is an ex- army officer and has seen two wars. He has also served as Director, Indian Airlines; in charge of Man power including Management Training, Industrial Relations and Legal matters pertaining to Labour. He has also had vast experience in school administration as he was associated with the schools belonging to Indian Airlines. Mr Chahal had also a stint as General Manager of Sahara Airlines. His Experience as administrator and HR planner is of great benefit to the school.

Gold medalist from the University of Rajasthan in English Literature (MA) and British Council Scholar in the University of Leeds, UK in Linguistics and ELT, Mr. Panamkat worked as a lecturer in St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and as senior lecturer in Faculty of Education, University of Aden for a total of 17 years. After shifting to school education, he has functioned as the principal of St. Paul’s School, Haus Khas and the founder – Principal of NK Bagrodia Public School, Rohini. He is the recipient of ‘Raja Ram Mohan Roy Award’- 1996 and PTA of India-Principal’s Award in 1999. Mr. Panamkat is a writer of Children’s books (novels, Science fiction and plays). He is the member of The Reading Promotion Team of Scholastic India Ltd. and is passionate in promoting the reading habit and the book culture in children through seminars/workshops for teachers, parents and students.

By profession a Lawyer and a specialist in Intellectual Property Rights who has done her masters from Suffolk University, Boston, USA. In addition, she has a diploma in Cyber Law. She is a magnanimous writer, voracious reader and one who stands for the rights of women and children. She is now pursuing her doctorate in Intellectual Property Rights. Though a lawyer, she has a vast experience in Early Childhood Education as being the Director of Little Legends, the most premier Early Education Centre. She is also a professional photographer which is another feather in her cap.

Her sheer hardwork and indomitable will power have always enabled and encouraged people to work for a noble cause. Her commendable academic efficiency, innovative methodology and a scholastic approach has made her an Apostle.

Mrs Daljeet Kaur started her career as an eminent teacher and held responsibilities as Deputy Director of Education and Addl. Director ( SCERT ). She is renowned as an efficient educational administrator and specialist in educational training. She was instrumental in implementation of various social development schemes including provisions of RTE Act.

Commissioned in the Education Branch of the Indian Air Force in 1953, Group Capt. Srivastava was earlier a lecturer in a college, while carrying out Research in Geography in the university of Allahabad. He was selected to lead as HM/Principal in Sainik Schools of Andhra Pradesh of Korukonda, Vishakapatnam; Uttarpradesh at Ghorakal, Nainital; Manipur at Imphal ( Founder Principal ) and Tamil Nadu at Amravatinagar, Coimbatore. He had a distinction of being on the Directing staff of the Natural Defence Academy, Khadakvasala, Pune.

After his retirement as the Joint Director in Air, HQ, Vayu Bhavan, New Delhi, he took up Principal’s assignments at Sawan Public School, Chhattarpur Road, New Delhi (an exclusively boarding school ) and was a member of the I.P.S.C. and Dayawati Modi Academy II, Modipuram, Meerut, U.P. He has a vast experience in the field of education and is widely travelled.
